Description
Moving on from lighting and marketing, in this workshop we will be looking at the digital workflow. From capturing the digital negative through to publishing it. We will work in a combination of Capture One, Lightroom, and adobe photoshop (please note, this is not a how to use photoshop workshop).
This will be ideal for those who struggle with knowing when the edit is done, how to achieve certain looks, those relying on presets, those who need a better digital workflow and back up system, and those who may need some advice on how to work professionally tethered on a set with or without a digi tech on site or with a professional retoucher.
There is also an interview with a professional retoucher and digital tech as part of this workshop
We will cover;
Tethering and live back ups on set (Capture One and Lightroom)
Building a workable file structure for long term use
Importing images from a memory card with auto back ups and correct file structures
Colour grading in Lightroom
Colour grading in Capture One
Working between Capture one or Lightroom with Photoshop
Backing up digital files
Working with a professional retoucher
Understanding when the edit is “right” or “completed”
A breakdown of all of the sliders in Lightroom
When to fix in camera and when to fix in post
